Orange liquor is used in a ton of well known cocktail recipes and is a necessary addition to your home bar. Cointreau and Gran Marnier are probably the most well known of these liquors. They are also packed with a ton of sugar. Make your own and you can whip up Low Sugar margaritas, cosmos, sidecars, kamikaze shots... the world is your Keto cocktail oyster!


Fill a jar 3/4 of the way with well scrubbed orange and lemon peels, using twice as much orange as lemon. Try to not get too much pith, though a little is fine and adds a bit of bitterness that will add depth to the end product. Cover the peels with a high proof vodka and let sit for 2 weeks. (If you want to get real fancy, use 1/2 vodka and 1/2 brandy.) Shake it whenever you feel the urge. Strain after two weeks, giving those peels a good squeeze into the infusion to get the oils out. Sweeten to taste with  powdered @swervesweetie

Sugar Free Coffee Liqueur

Do you like Kahlua?  This is sugar free coffee liqueur better than the original! This is a starter staple to one of our favorite cocktails--White Russians!


1/2 cup fine ground espresso
1 c hot hot water (not boiling)
3/4 c Brown @swervesweetie (no exceptions!)
2 Tbs vanilla
2 cups light rum (@shdistillery is a favorite in this. Vodka is fine to use too!)

Let it sit, taste it as you go, and double filter the grounds out when you’re ready to rock n roll. (2-4 days)


Sugar Free Irish Cream

 Baileys is OUT. this is in.


1/2 cup Brown @swervesweetie
1/2 cup strong, brewed coffee
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 Tbs cocoa powder
1/2 cup Jameson Whiskey
8 oz heavy cream (we like to cut it with half and half too)
Mix the Swerve with the hot coffee until its dissolved. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake again. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Sugar Free Amaretto

 Do you like Disaronno?

Then you will LOVE this Cherry SF Amaretto 


1 c hot (almost boiling) water
1 c Brown @swervesweetie
2 c vodka
2Tbs almond extract
2Tbs vanilla extract

It’s good right away, better if you let it sit for a day. Keeps indefinitely.

Staple Cocktails

Moscow Mule

(4 carbs)

Fill copper mug with ice and add: 

2 oz vodka
1/2 lime
3 mint leaves
6 oz diet ginger beer
2 oz lime la croix
1 oz sf simple syrup 

Garnish with lime and ginger


Margarita

(4 carbs)
2 oz tequila
.5 oz keto triple sec (in our recipes)
Juice of 1/2 lime
Top with lime sparkling water

Mojito

2 oz White rum

1 lime
3-4 muddled blueberries
Mint

2 oz sf simple syrup
Lime Sparkling Water

Muddle rum, mint and lime. Top with lime Sparkling water

Amaretto Sour

(3 carbs)
2 oz whiskey
1 oz sf amaretto (in our recipes)
0.5 oz orange juice
1 oz lemon
1 dropper orange bitters
Egg white
Put it all in a lidded jar or cocktail shaker and shake

Gin & Tonic

Your favorite bitters (we use apricot vanilla)

Diet tonic water

garnish with whatever your heart desires!! Rosemary, tarragon, peppercorns, raspberries, juniper berries, pomegranate seeds, dried lemon, ect!
